Chiedo scusa per non aver pubblicato più nulla ma sono in Nuova Zelanda come wwoofer e il lavoro mi prende nelle ore in cui sono più attiva! ;)
Però non mi sono dimenticata del blog e la mia passione per la creazione e il cucito non è venuta a mancare.
Pertanto vi mostro un regalo che ho fatto questo Natale. Inizialmente doveva essere una cover per il computer, poi ho cambiato idea e l'ho convertita in pochette. O meglio, voi potete decidere cosa metterci dentro, dal makeup all'ipad! Cosa meglio preferite!!!!!

I'm so sorry for not having posted anything for a long time, but now I'm in New Zealand as woofer and the job takes me lot of hours!
Nonetheless I didn't forget the blog and neither my passion for creation and sewing...so I show you a Christmas gift. Firstly it should be a laptop cover but then I converted it in a pochette or well, you should use it to put make up or ipad! as you prefer!!!!
Materiale:
vecchi jeans (se volete fare una cover per il pc vi consiglio quelli da uomo che sono più larghi)
una cerniera
filo del colore del jeans
filo di colore molto acceso
Materials:
Old jeans (if you want to create a laptop cover I suggest boy jeans because they are larger)
one zip
blue thread
contrasting color thread
Innanzitutto ho recuperato un vecchio paio di jeans di mio papà. Ho staccato l'etichetta in pelle e ho tagliato lungo la linea dei fianchi. Per agevolare il lavoro ho anche tagliato lungo la linea del cavallo. Con la tagliacuci, ho rifilato i bordi perché il jeans tende facilmente a sfilarsi e squarciarsi, specialmente se vecchio.
First of all, I tried to find my dad's old jeans. I removed the leather label and I cut long the sides of the jeans. To make easier the next step, I also cut the front crotch.
With the overlocker, I trimmed the borders, because the jeans normally tends to fray and rip, especially when it is really old.
Dopodiché ho attaccato la cerniera e cucito tutti i tre lati.
Come decoro ho deciso di attaccare nuovamente l'etichetta in pelle con un colore molto contrastante (io ho scelto in bordeaux), ho usato due vecchi passanti originali da attaccare sui fianchi per attaccare eventualmente una tracolla e infine, per riprendere il colore della cucitura dell'etichetta, ho chiuso tutti gli strappi con il filato bordeaux.
After that, I attached the zip and sewed all three sides.
As decoration, I sewed again the leather label with a contrasting color (I chose burgundy one). I used two original jeans loops and I attached them on the two sides, so if in the future I want to use the pochette as shoulder bag I can.
At the end, to resume the color of the label seam, I closed all the rips with the burgundy color.
